All organisations that provide NHS services gather feedback in the format of the 'Friends and Family test', contributing to national data figures. Sleaford Medical Group is no different to this, and we gather our patient's feedback in both paper and digital formats. If you've visited the practice recently, you may have seen them by our signing in screens. Alternatively, for the tech savvy among us, you may have found feeding back easier via our automatic sms prompts received after an appointment with us, or via the QR code on practice posters - both leading directly to our online form.
The Friends and Family test is based around the following question;
Whilst gathering feedback from users of the service is very important, acting upon it is even more so. Over the last financial year there have been changes to improve patient experience, led by and supported by patient feedback. These include; launching the askmyGP option buttons and longer opening times, changing the phone system to enable the 'call back' function and making feeding back to us easier than ever, with the introduction of the friends and family test online form, including translated formats.
