Patient Participation Group (PPG)
What is a PPG?
A PPG is a group entirely made up of registered patients who come together to work with their GP practice to help improve services. PPGs are based on co-operation between practice staff and patients.
What can a PPG do?
For more information on the PPG, please contact the surgery today or have a read of our PPG Leaflet.
Since its formation this year, the PPG has provided great insight into the experience of SMG from the patients' viewpoint. As a result improvements have been made already, including an addition to the patient toilets and installation of a new electric door to the waiting room.
To keep up to date with the discussion, please see below the documentation of the meetings so far:

Here at Sleaford Medical Group we much appreciate patient feedback to help us to review and improve the services that we offer. You can complete any one of the three forms of feedback (as listed below) in surgery by picking them up at the front desk. You can also download the attached PDF and drop them off at Reception.
We take all suggestions seriously and all feedback is recorded and reviewed by staff.
Friends and Family Test (FFT)
‘The NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) was created to help service providers and commissioners understand whether their patients are happy with the service provided, or where improvements are needed. It is a quick and anonymous way to give your views after receiving care or treatment across the NHS.’

Suggestion cards are used within the surgery to either give a specific praise for the services or make a suggestion for improvement.
